“ Chanos is a good local Mexican spot that has also lately been featuring Oaxacan food. You should try some of their great dishes. I have really been enjoying the Gorditas lately. They are like thick crispy corn tortillas split in half and filled with your choice of chorizo con papas or chicharrón in salsa among other fillings. I am sure you will love them if you give them a try! ”

“ Chanos has always been a family favorite. I grew up going here as a young kid, and it remains one of my favorite spots in the SGV. Their food has remained consistently delicious and fresh throughout the many years I've been coming here. I can safely say I have never had anything here that wasn't good. Their asada fries are a staple. Truly some of the absolute best. Their tacos and burritos are also amazing, and my husband loves to get the cheese enchiladas because he says they remind him of the ones his mom makes. Don't forget to come on days where they are making tortillas fresh! I cannot forget to shout out their green salsa; it is truly what dreams of made of. I can't get enough of it. The staff is also always warm and friendly. Chanos is definitely underrated ! ”

The establishment is small, but there are several places to sit. This is my first time ordering the asada fries and they were so good. “ we like going here on taco tues (and wed... and thurs... fri). we never use their drive thru, so i always forget it's an option. parking is easy enough, they have a small lot or you can park on the street. tasty agua frescas. their hard taco is so good! ca burrito is good, albeit a bit small. ”
“ We used Chano's for their taco catering service this past Saturday for about 50 people. The food was delicious. We had 3 meats and potato tacos. It was served with rice, beans, chips and all the condiments and salsa. Although they forgot the red (spicier salsa) it was not a problem. Their service with 2 workers was superb and friendly. Everyone enjoyed the food and was full. There was enough food leftover for them to make about 10 burritos for us and still had more food we put into containers. I highly recommend using Chano's for your next taco catering event. Pictures included are from an event from the prior week also catered by Chano's. Vicente was responsive and answered all my questions when I inquired about catering. Everything ran perfectly. ”
